[opensuse] flash plugin question
Hello: I have openSUSE 10.3 with its default flash plugin, version flash-player-9.0.124.0-0.1. I have problems viewing some web pages containing flash content. At these sites the flash window covers some of the content of the page. Here are some examples: http://www.fujifilm.hu/termekek/digitalis_fotozas/ digitalis_fenykepezogepek/s5800/s5800.xml http://www.infolex.hu/ The content looks the same viewing either by Opera (9.52) or Mozilla Firefox (MozillaFirefox-2.0.0.16-0.1). On windows using the same browsers the look of the same pages is correct. Is this problem caused by a bad flash plugin or the browsers cant't use the plugin correctly? Is any way to fix it at user level? TIA, IG

________________________________________________________
Még több szórakozás otthon, még több kedvezmény Neked! Try to use Konqueror instead. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

That is a known _old_ bug basically in Flash. Actually it's a missing feature in the Linux version of Flash. Transparent background is not supported there. That feature is in the upcoming version 10 of the Flash player but this will only work with Firefox 3 (and before 3.0.2 it's still a bit crashy there). Thank you all for the answers. (What I don't understand why both windows and linux flash has the same version number when their features are not the same.) Thanks again, IG

________________________________________________________
Még több szórakozás otthon, még több kedvezmény Neked!
