[opensuse] 15 Stable enough yet?
I'm at a break-point in my need for my Opensuse machine, such that I can tolerate some disruption. I was thinking I might try Leap 15 on it. I know Carlos recently posted that he had success with it. Is it ready for routine use with most things working? (mostly I just cut code on that box, adequately backed up). -- _____________________________________ ---This space for rent--- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

John, it is very good. I have not yet switched my desktop to 15, but I am tempted. Over Easter I switched our public opensuse mirror to Leap15. For server use, it's solid. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (9.2°C) http://www.cloudsuisse.com/ - your owncloud, hosted in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Thanks for the info. I've got a server that also needs an upgrade, but its not broke so I'm not fixing it just yet. But I'll probably do my laptop today or tomorrow. As in, there will be a steady stream of patches, but certain things will not be upgraded.
