[opensuse] repositories for 10.2
Can someone tell me why: http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/10.2/repo/non-oss works find as an added repository but http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/10.2/repo/oss fails to install as a repository although I see the rpms in that path? Usually a server side glitch. Happens. Possibly the mirror to which you were re-directed from download.opensuse.org is updating from the main mirror. Non-oss is either finished or next in the queue or doesn't have any updates today. Non-oss works just fine. For many a week my attempts to access the oss path fails with the following message: Unable to create installation source from URL 'http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/10.2/repo/oss' Details: Unknown source type for http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/10.2/repo/oss Try again? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Add /suse to the end of http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/10.2/repo/oss so it is http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/10.2/repo/oss/suse and see what happens. Stan -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Add /suse to the end of
http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/10.2/repo/oss
so it is
http://download.opensuse.org/distribution/10.2/repo/oss/suse
and see what happens.
