Guys {SuSE} I am still having problems with this damn SCSI card, I have already said that the SuSE 5.1 Distro boot disk WILL load the SCSI fine and I am able to use everything fine. But under a normal LILO boot it will not, even with the no_reset append line or the kernel having direct load of aic7xxx or loading aic7xxx as a module, all temination is fine
from what I can see. If the distros boot disk can load it, why cant the normal system.
I have no explanation for this behaviour. Maybe it's a timing issue. The kernel on the bootdisk is compiled for 386, you probably compiled the kernel for pentium. Maybe you could try this, but as you see, this is desperate experimenting...
