[opensuse] iPhone Android Blackberry support ?
According to the opensuse.org web site OpenSuse 11.3 supports the devices mentioned above (http://en.opensuse.org/Portal:11.3 ) under the section smartphone support. I am at a complete loss. I have searched and searched what app(s) in opensuse 11.3 are they talking about ? -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Drivers only for the most part. Drivers for USB. Usb storage USB modems (use your android as a modem) USB power to the device. Bluetooth drivers for modem file transfer etc So, you don't necessarily see many specific application, and some phones are more restrictive than others. -- _____________________________________ At one time I had a Real Sig. What I do with all my smartphones is synchronize it to an Exchange server. You can add the Exchange account in Evolution and it works fine. Also that way I can use the same email account, address book, etc between Linux, MacOS and Windows. My unlocked Windows Mobile phone would connect to openSUSE as USB RNDIS network adapter, no drivers were needed it would just pick up an IP address a few seconds after I connected it. But from what I hear the Android phones you need to root/hack if you want to share the internet connection, surprising for a platform that is touted as being "open." No hack needed with my Nexus One. It supports both WiFi and USB tethering. No need to root. It's running Android 2.2 -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
