On ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/update/ there is a folder called '9.2' I haven't seen this anywhere else. What's up?

Probalbly getting ready for the next release, which is due soon. The same thing happened prior to the 9.1 release, last spring.

Interesting... How long has it been since 9.1 came out, and what's the standard dev. cycle for SuSE? After all, there's been KDE updates, XFree.org, OO, gnome, among other things...

Devcycle is around 6 month's per release +/- a little Hint: They have to cover their developmentcosts ;-)
