Following some recommendations from the list I installed yesterday Kdat and have the two following problems 1. I am using an HP DAT tape drive and I do not know what block size I should put. 2. when creating a backup definition, I am unable to specify anything but the / directory and no files appear in the list box. If I specify directly the files to backup everything works fine any Ideas? I would highly recommend not using kdat. Last I checked there was still a bug where everything backs up fine but when you restore it does not restore the files you choose to restore. Something gets messed up in the indexing.
