You can run "zypper se --provides libcrypt.so" to determine that. It also sounds like your installing this tool outside of the "support" mechanism, e.g. a package built for openSUSE. I tried to install viber the other day on my laptops, but I met some missing dependencies - like libcrypto.so libssl.so and libpng.so named file. There are files with similar names in /usr/lib64. I tried to soft link them to the names that are expected, but without success. So how to proceed?

libpng.so is in libpng17-compat-devel which is in http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/graphics/openSUSE_Tumbleweed/

then your viber package is not build for openSUSE. you need to compile the package yourself, or you need to direct viber where to find it's required packages. and creating symlinks is *probably* not the correct way and may cause you system problems.

you would be better off utilizing an instant messaging app build for openSUSE.

also viber provides an rpm package which *may* work for you. much care is necessary here.
