SPAM: Evolution hack for miss marked email [SOLVED]
Recently I tried something odd editing a file under ~/.evolution/mail/local> Specifically having this mail incorrectly marked in the Subject header as "S-P-A-M". I copied these emails over to a holder called dummy. I used gedit to search and replace these markings and deleted the index. Upon restarting evolution the emails were corrected and when I moved them back to the original holder they were in place with no threads broken just the sort. I then reselected the misnamed mail and deleted it. This gave me a clean folder. Ill deal with the email providers mistakes later but for now my local mail is corrected. Thanks for reading. I am sure the on-line indexes could be similarly be corrected. -- ___ _ _ _ ____ _ _ _ | | | | [__ | | | |___ |_|_| ___] | \/
