Hi, $ zypper patch Warning: Repository 'xyz' appears to outdated. Consider using a different mirror or server. How can I disable this warning. I've tried to disable autorefresh but it doesn't help. cu, Rudi -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

What repo url? The NonOSS repo, right? The NonOSS repo had not received updates for more than 30 days. We cured this by releasing the current flash-player update yesterday night. No it's opensuse-11.4-update. I know it's outdated, but disabling auto-refresh should disable the warning because obviously I don't want to have it updated anyway.

Then remove the repository at all, or alternativelu use the Evergreen 11.4 update repo :) This is a security feature (even if it does not advertise as such), so you cannot be pointed at a non-syncing mirror without knowing. I have Evergreen added too but does it include all the former updates?

Yes I see that. But if I _explicitly_ disable "auto-refresh" then I know that I don't want to use an up-to-date server. No need to be warned about that. BTW how zypper knows that it's outdated at all? Can I spoof it? I have the repos locally mirrored. cu, Rudi -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

Hmm. Now I understand. Perhaps its a feature one might add as per-repo flag or so. Can you open Bugzilla or FATE for the zypp folks?

The suseinfo.xml part contains the expiry time and there is also a timestamp somewhere (have to remember where) else that is checked then against the system+expiry time.
