I am using the Corel Office Suite on my 95 machine, and am really impressed with its versatility and power, and so I wanted to see if the Linux version of Wp had, so I went and downloaded it:-) Well, I ran into a bit of a snag when I tried to dl the big file, and finally got it working to download all the sections instead. Got it all downloaded and untarred and went to install, (after reading the docs), I ran the install script, it asked if I had everything untarred to which I replied yes, and then it came back and told me that there was nothing new to install! Did I miss something? Just change the names of your original files from upper case to lower case. This must be done right after unzipping and untarring. On 22-Dec-98 Leon McClatchey wrote:

Leon, All I did was d/l'd the big file, tar xvf "filename" and ran the install script. (./Runme as root, note that you have to be in X windows to install this) Sorry I'm not more descriptive but I'm drink'in a "few" beers tonight. ;) Dana -- dlaude@execpc.com Dana J. I originally tried to get the big file, but had a system lock up in the middle of the d/l and then the next time I went to get it, it wouldn't let me get the file from either machine, so I ended up d/l'ing the sections instead:=( I did try to do the install as root, but not from Xwindows, I'll try that next time I'm over there:-)
