Hi all, I've put Suse 6.4 on a Satellite Pro 400 CDT and the cd rom worked pretty much fine during instillation, but now seems to not want to work. It seems to be set as hdc and I tried specifying this in lilo.conf as hdc = cdrom as suggested in the manual, but that didn't work. Nor did cdrom = /dev/hdc Yast still sees it as CD-ROM ATAPI EIDE /dev/hdc [NOT OK] Any furher work arounds I can use to sort this out? -- Cheers Bruce Scharlau Prints & Maps http://www.scharlau.co.uk
