Hello, everyone. Sorry to reply to my own post, but I thought I'd just make public the message I just sent to DLink's support. I wonder what kind of response I'll get back. <start> Hello. I would like to voice my desire to see Linux drivers from you guys for your 802.11g products. To reinforce the point, I am currently involved in a very active discussion on the SuSE Linux mailing list concerning Linux drivers for 802.11g products. This list has about 2000 subscribers around the world, and consists of a great many knowledgeable and respected members. At this time, if you guys had Linux drivers available, you would win a whole slew of new customers. If your competitors get their drivers out before you, you will probably lose these potential customers forever. Thanks for listening. Now please demonstrate that you've heard me by sending a response that doesn't come straight from the sheet of canned answers. <end> Bye for now, Stuart.

Stuart. <snip> Thanks. I bet we could have an impact on manufacturers building drivers if everyone on the mailing list would email their support asking about linux drivers.
