Hello All! Thanks for help with the other problem I had (Kppp and Wvdial now works perfectly). Kppp obviously is a rather mysterious application. It never worked alright before I got my internet connection up using Wvdial for the first time; then ... Kppp now works :-). Now I have an annoying problem with printing. I have an HP DJ 695c. And in Win98 it works alright. But in Linux :-( It's set up with the cdj550 driver. And in wordperfect 8, and some other applications it prints correctly. But with KDE, applix and Netscape it prints out all pages compressed to the upper half of an A4 page. I have tried to change the apsfilterrc settings from FEATURE=2n to FATURE=1n As in: ############################################################################## # (7) Here you can determince, how a2ps (ascii to Postscript converter) # formats your documents... # here you can select between 4 predefined choices # # NOTE: Useless if USE_RECODE_NOT_A2PS is set to "yes" # ############################################################################## # Description # ----------- # FEATURE=1 tell a2ps to print 1 page on one sheet with header # FEATURE=2 tell a2ps to print 2 pages on one sheet with header # FEATURE=1n tell a2ps to print 1 page on one sheet without header # FEATURE=2n tell a2ps to print 2 pages on one sheet without header # FEATURE=1l tell a2ps to print 1 pages in landscape with header # FEATURE=1ln tell a2ps to print 1 pages in landscape without header # # Default is FEATURE=1n Is this correct? It didnt change the printers attitude; it stil only prints in the upper half of the A4 page. (Even vith .ps files). Any sugestions?
