Hi,
From: Thinker [mailto:thinker@thoughtprogress.com] I see on the SuSE site that SuSE Desktop is for Business Users and SuSE 8.2 is for 'home' users. I am wondering what the difference is between the two and what would make a 'home' user that uses Linux for some business (web development, learning programming, email, web browsing, sharing files on windows boxes, etc) choose one or the other.
SuSE Personal and SuSE Professional provide installation support, updates and such things. SuSE Desktop includes more services like access to the SuSE Portal. Have a look at http://www.suse.com/us/business/services/support/index.html for further details. As far as I see your requirements SuSE Professional 9.0 will do nicely :o) cheers, Stefan
