It is possible to customise the graphical login screen somewhat ? I'd like to remove some of the graphical icons displayed (before entering username/password) for users, for a start. I installed qmail and several 'daemon' users, and now these have been added to the graphical login, which is confusing for the enduser. I'd appreciate some pointers for further information. Thanks. -- Darren Wyn Rees merlin@netlink.co.uk ASK your ISP to ADD the NEW england.* Newsgroups http://www.england.news-admin.org/accessfaq.html
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, Yes you can. Take a look at /opt/kde2/share/config/kdmrc and /opt/kde2/share/config/SuSE/config/kdmrc. With the "Users=" you can select which users should be shown in the login window. With the "NoUsers=" you can select which users should NOT be shown ( practical if you have very many users, but only a few system accounts ) With the "ShowUsers=" you can have at least "selected" and "all" Also, instead of the logo, you can have a clock ( LogoArea=KdmClock ) - -tosi Þann mánudagur 29 janúar 2001 22:36 skrifaðir þú:
