Hi everyone.
Kmail won't send via the smtp.mail.yahoo.com. It says that 'authentication is required'. Netscape sends it fine.
Can kmail deal with this? Suse-7.3
Thanks, Steve.

sendmail is an MTA you can use it to send mail to someone@yahoo.com (for which the yahoo.com MX accepts) if you want to send mail with your yahoo account use evolution, mozilla, netscape etc. any client that supports smtp auth for relaying. (you are then using yahoo.com MX MTA) hth andre -- +27 834433455 Atp (Pty) Ltd.

When I encountered this problem I set sendmail up for all my mail and it works like a dream. May not if you have a dial-up connection though.
