How do I give my user account IOslave access?
I would like to be able to use the audio IOslave function in my users account. I have used it in root to copy audio cd's and it is quit nice IMHO. It essentially lets me rip songs which I can you to burn my own taylored cds. Any clues, README's, HOWTO, on how to setup audioIOslaves for the users (or IOslaves in general) will be greatly appreciated. TIA, Curtis

Check the permissions on whatever /dev/cdrom links to (/dev/hdc or something). I suggest creating a group and setting the device to be accessible from that group.
