Unfortunately Photopaint seems to require more. I've got WP8.1 up and running, installed all the stuff needed for that. But Photopaint won't install. The installer runs, installs but exits prematurely, giving some error that I didn't understand and can't remember now. If it is a Linux install, then check to see if you have the shlibs5 installed. You can do a search with Yast2. Let the list know if that manages to make it work.

Have you perchance then tried the WordPerfect news group? There are several knowledgable Corel guys there. It is the cnews.corel.com server and corel.wpoffice.wordperfect8-linux group. There may also be a group for the PhotoPaint as well, but those guys seem to figure out most any install, if it is possible.
