[opensuse] Disable window maximizing when pulled to the border
Hello, In opensuse-11.3, a new functionality seems to have been added for KDE. Whey I move a window close to a border of the screen, a small frame around the screen appears. When I release the mouse-button while this frame is shown, the window is popped up to full-screen-mode. I find this new functionality very annoying and would like to deactivate it, but I could not find where and how. Anybody can give me a hint how to deactivate this? as usual: systemsettings also known as "Configure Desktop" in the menu Workspace Behavior --> Screen Edges Maximize windows by dragging ..... note: systemsettings/"Configure Desktop" contains *most* of the adjustable settings not accessable via the "cashew" and/or right-clicking. -- Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA HOG # US1244711 http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://counter.li.org -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org

Go to: Configure Desktop > Workspace Appearance and Behavior > Workspace Behavior > Screen Edges > Window Management. Remove the checks. The feature is one familiar to Windows 7 users. I switched it off for the same reasons you want to. C. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
