[SLE] Konqueror shows wrong file modification time??
When you let the mouse hover over a document in Konqueror, you get a yellow popup box with some document details - modification time for instance. On a document I've just (local time 1030, UTC 0830) modified (using OO), Konqueror shows modification time 1536 ???? /Per Jessen, Zürich -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com

Did we forget to refresh Konqi after the file was updated and before we looked at the modification time? -- ======================================================================== Currently using SuSE 9.2 Professional with KDE and Mozilla 1.7.2 Linux user # 229959 at http://counter.li.org ========================================================================

Whether or not I did, why would Konq show a modification time in the future? Has anyone tried this out at home - I can't believe I'm the only one seeing it. /Per Jessen, Zürich -- Check the headers for your unsubscription address For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the archives at http://lists.suse.com Please read the FAQs: suse-linux-e-faq@suse.com

Whether or not I did, why would Konq show a modification time in the future? Sorry, I didn't read the question properly. My fault for the dumb ass comment.
Has anyone tried this out at home - I can't believe I'm the only one seeing it. I have not seen this at all and I am normally a stickler for making sure a file is updated at the correct time.
Perhaps the contents of the file contained code that changed the date, or perhaps the cahing of the file contents whilst you were working on the file were corrupted thus displaying a date the file thought it was modified on. or you just took a REAL long time to edit te file? I guess a solution would be to find out when OO writes the date and edit time to a file in the save process as perhaps something went wonky there? As possibly the only one to have encountered the error, I would suggest that a bug report be submitted, attaching the actual edited file if possible.
