CUPS client won't talk to CUPS server
Hi: I'm running SuSE 8.2 in my servers and clients. I have a network configured as 192.168.0.1 - 192.168.3.254 mask 255.255.252.0. My cups server is at 192.168.0.1 and the clients on this network can "see" it ok. My gateway is 192.168.0.2. I have another network connected via router 192.168.4.0/255.255.255.0 witha gateway at 192.168.4.2 and have configured a client at 192.168.4.3 which can not "see" the cups server. So I added to the client's /etc/cups/cupsd.conf the lines: BrowsePoll 192.168.0.1:631 BrowseRelay 127.0.0.1 192.168.4.255 And pointed kprinter at the client's side to use 192.168.0.1 port 631, and still can not see any printers. Is this the correct procedure, or am I missing something? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you and regards. -- Alfredo J.
