Silly Question... What is Opera?
-- It's a browser......lean and faster than Netscape. This one is an evaluation released under the same terms as the Windows version. After 30 days you are supposed to register, and pay $39. However it is still in Beta...with a promise of the next Beta approx at 4 week intervals. After the evaluation period in the Windoze version the progran only allows access to the Opera website. Personally I don't see this as a problem....I will just download the new one. I haven't had a chance to try the new KDE browser yet........but Opera looks good....and I might be tempted to part with some cash at some time in the future.

Konquerer kicks Opera all over the place. It uses Netscapes plugins
and is the closest thing to IE on Linux. It's a damn nice browser.
