Hi, Refer suse 9.0 What I would like to have to do by system is to start gkrellm automatically..(lazy)? When I put it in ~/myself/.bashrc as the last entry...it loads...but before the kde GUI...and stays like that forever....got to kill the gkrellm GUI and then the boot continues. Now it seems that this act of loading gkrellm must be the last command some-where. Kindly some pointers please. .bashrc is never the place for a GUI program.

I think I did it just by saving the desktop in gnome; kde should be the same. If not, right click on it, configuration, general, save position or something. -- Cheers, Carlos Robinson
