Hi everyone, I was adviced by one of the authors of Konqueror that my X configuration has the wrong DPI setting (75 rather than 96). Can anyone give me any tips on what to put in /etc/X11/XF86Config to change the DPI? Thanks, Tim -- ----------------------------------------------------------------- Timothy R. I simply went into the FontPath section and reversed the order of all fonts with 75 and 100 so that the 100 appeared first. That seemed to work for me. Ed Harrison SuSE 6.4, Kernel 2.4.2, X 4.0.2, IBM JDK 1.1.8 or Warp 4, FP12 or Windows98 (running in vmware 2.0.3 for fun) PolarBarMailer 1.1.19a
When I tried this all it did was use a different font spec - it did not seem to alter the fundamental dpi setting of X itself. I also have asked this question a couple of times and never found an answer Francesco
