[opensuse] I lost several addons with the last Thunderbird update on 15.0
I did not see a warning of this. I lost "Check and Send", "Remove duplicate Messages (Alternate)" and "Toggle Word Wrap" The last one I used daily. :-( -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 15.0 x86_64 at Telcontar)

Hi carlos, i could not speak for leap, but i have had similar problem with updated tumbleweed system. solution was: press the update button manually for the addons. (up to now i never have seen before, so maybe thunderbird did not check automatically for updates anymore.) simoN -- www.becherer.de -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

No such button. I clicked on each addon, and only one mentions a beta version for Th 68. On Firefox, another add on has "silently" stopped working right (show profile). And I got a new tab from Firefox that says "What happened to my Live Bookmarks?" +++............. As of Firefox version 64, Firefox no longer supports built-in Live Bookmarks but we’ve made it easy to continue using your feeds by performing the following: * Your existing Live Bookmarks have been exported into an OPML file on your desktop, called Firefox feeds backup.opml. You can import this file in another feed reader such as a Firefox add-on or a separate feed reader program or web service. * Your Live Bookmarks have been turned into regular bookmarks that point to the feed’s origin pages. .............++- I don't know what were "Live Bookmarks" or if I had them. I do have a "Desktop/Firefox feeds backup.opml" file. Contains:
<?xml version="1.0"?> <opml version="1.0"><head><title>Firefox Live Bookmarks</title></head><body> <outline type="rss" title="Planet openSUSE" text="Planet openSUSE" xmlUrl="http://planet.opensuse.org/en/rss20.xml" htmlUrl="http://planet.opensuse.org/"/> <outline type="rss" title="openSUSE News" text="openSUSE News" xmlUrl="https://news.opensuse.org/feed" htmlUrl="https://news.opensuse.org/"/> </body></opml>
Those links are not mine. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 15.0 x86_64 at Telcontar)

Ah, inside the cogwheel. Previously there was a button per each addon, outside. Anyway, "no updates found", says it. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 15.0 x86_64 at Telcontar)

bad luck, here the problem was that thy where not automatically updated. (auto update was checked) you must wait for updates available .... :-((((((( simoN -- www.becherer.de -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org

On my 60.8.0 version of TBird, Tools/Add-ons opens a new tab with all extensions listed. There is a small pull-down (showing a wheel icon) just next to the search box; that pull-down exposes choices to Check for Updates and also to turn automatic updates on/off. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
