lilo -R lilo_selection reboot where "lilo_selection" is what you call the section in lilo that boots the OS you want to reboot to

Use the lilo -R option, e.g. 'lilo -R failsafe && reboot' will reboot into the failsafe kernel without showing the boot dialog. This setting is olny valid once. Michael
