Actually the issue cited does have an article on prematurely out-of-round wheels on German trains. May issue, pages 51-54. Whether it's still on the web site is another story, but it appears from the four-page article that this is not a laughing matter to the German engineers involved. Would you like me to mail you a copy?
That would be nice, yes. If there is something to this story, it certainly isn't a laughing matter. However, the close-but-not-quite-right url given in the original message does cast the RISKS entry in a somewhat dubious light.
