When I login now, I see messages like:

Unable to register terminal service: /usr/bin/dbus-launch terminated abnormally with the following error: Autolaunch requested, but X11 support not compiled in. Cannot continue.

So I make sure /tumbleweed/dbus-1-x11-1.12.6-1.1.x86_64.rpm: Preparing... ################################# [100%] Updating / installing... 1:dbus-1-x11-1.12.6-1.1 ################################# [ 50%] update-alternatives: using /usr/bin/dbus-launch.x11 to provide /usr/bin/dbus-launch (dbus-launch) in auto mode

But now I get: Unable to register terminal service: /usr/bin/dbus-launch terminated abnormally with the following error: EOF in dbus-launch reading address from bus daemon

??? I thought it was supposed to launch dbus for me? -- that being what dbus-launch was for?

I am guessing dbus-launch doesn't really mean dbus-launch?
