I am running SuSE 6.4 and I use the reiserfs. I know that with the standard kernel I cannot use the reiserfs. So my question is how do I patch the new kernel (2.4.0) for use with the reiserfs? And Where would I get such a patch?

You mean that after all that time Reiser support is not in 2.4.0? I thought it was supposed to be. @^%$#$#^ -- Mark Hounschell markh@compro.net
Last I heard it was going to be in 2.4.1 or 2.4.2... or somewhere along there... On Fri, 5 Jan 2001, Mark Hounschell wrote:

Hi All, looking for this per chance? ;-) ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/people/mantel/ I downloaded the full thingy, viz.... "linux-2.4.0.SuSE-6.tgz" Read the "readme," of course.... A kool trick, is to print out a previous ".config," from "2.2.16.SuSE" so ya know nothing big will break. *BFN* & a big thanx again SuSE & all you Kernel folkz :-) Greek Geek :-)
