Greetings, Please can someone assist me here, I have man pages and docs comming out of my ears. I have configured a server as a master dns with a dhcpd and an nfs server running as well. Yes all on one PC because that is what I have available at least for the next few months. Now when I start named and test it is working beautifully in conjuction with dhcp of course. But nfs refuses to start while named is running. It starts fine while dhcpd is running though. Oh and if I nfs by itself it works too. Is this a common problem or am I just lucky? Thanks Chad

I don't know what's wrong with your setup, but I have a machine here running SuSE 9.1 serving duties as the server for nfs, nis, named, dhcpd, postfix, apache2, vsftpd, sshd, samba, and cups..., and everything works great. -Ti
