Appears that some installation instructions were missing : http://slashdot.org/comments.pl?sid=59203&cid=5642388 Cheers, Sigfred
Going off-topic to the off-topic, apparently the new NVidia drivers (4349) have an entry in the FAQ which includes the following: "As indicated in the NVIDIA Software License, Linux distributions are welcome to repackage and redistribute the NVIDIA Linux driver in whatever package format they wish." I think the redistribute bit is new. Does anyone know if 8.2 will include NVidia drivers (as opposed to the nv driver). Best wishes Kevin

No, that's been allowed for a long time.

No, it won't.

It is indeed in the 4191 license.txt

I thought that the reason why the nvidia drivers were not on the suse CDs was bacuase it was not allowed to redistribute them > Currently listening to: Pearl Jam - Not For You Gerhard, <faliquid@xs4all.nl> == The Acoustic Motorbiker == -- __O You can ravish a sloth but it would take all night =`\<, With a shark it is faster, but the darned beast might bite (=)/(=) We already mentioned the horse, you may recall But the hedgepod can never be buggered at all.
