is something wrong with www and ftp.suse.com? its down it seems... Looks fine from here.... You might try ftp://ftp.suse.com/? or ftp://ftp.SusE.coM in case your ISP uses a transparent cache which needs updated, otherwise your ISP may be having router trouble or something.

Hello, I cannot reach either www or ftp.suse.com too. Curiously enough, www.suse.de works like a charm. HNY Udo

I am unable to connect to ftp.suse.com either. It definitely is ISP related, because I reach ftp.suse.com from my work, but not from home. I'm stumped. Christopher W. Aiken writes:

I had the same problem with Alter.net and could not get to SuSE, I tried a different access number and it went through fine. Unfortunately if you ISP doesn't have different access numbers in your area, you are out of luck. joe
