Hi I corrected the error I was suffering from last night where the mouse wouldn't work in X-windows by re-installing the 2.0.36 kernel. As I was doing this a message popped up which said to install kernmod.rpm if a mouse problem appeared. I suspect that someone may have a weird sense of humour ? I had to install a new X server which now works fine with the mouse. However, I now find that when I use Kppp to connect to the internet it connects for a while and then disconnects and reconnects shortly afterwards. Anyone know which config file I should alter to sort this out ? I can't remember just now. Other thing is. Has anyone worked out how to use Kppp from a windows machine on a network ? I use six different ISPs to connect and I would like to be able to use all of them through my domestic network from windows 98 machines as well as use the linux box for writing web pages and writing simple (introductory) software. I know that I can use Wvdial but I thought that it might be interesting to have a go with Kppp. Thanks Richard Sheffield UK 0973 682181 -- To get out of this list, please send email to majordomo@suse.com with this text in its body: unsubscribe suse-linux-e Check out the SuSE-FAQ at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A">http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/</A</A>> and the archive at <A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html"><A HREF="http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A">http://www.suse.com/Mailinglists/suse-linux-e/index.html</A</A>>
