I haven't tried to configure it otherwise, because I don't need to. I try to delete the mail as soon as it comes :-) What I have instead are save-hooks in Mutt. I know the whole thing can be done with procmail doing local delivery, but since I didn't try, I can't give you pointers there. Hopefully there is still some information that will apply to your situation. BTW, obviously, with my set-up it shouldn't matter whether you have a domain name or not, it just happens that I do.
