APT sources.list not working anymore
Hi (Eberhard probably) I found a proposal on this list to use the following sources.list: rpm http://ftp4.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/apt/ SuSE/10.0-i386 suser-guru rpmkeys base java update-prpm update extra suser-jengelh usr-local-bin suser-jogley packman packman-i686 kernel-of-the-day suse-people suse-projects security In the beginning, I had to remove suser-tux because apt did not found the repository. Now, it does not find base and java anymore. Is this because it is being to be updated now? Is ftp4.gwdg.de still ok? Shall I use http or ftp? Any difference? Thanks for help, Dani

During the night, the base and java components were updated to SL-10.0-OSS. But the distribution is not released yet (directory still closed).
Is ftp4.gwdg.de still ok?
Yes, but busy with the other mirrors. Please wait one day if possible. It is very hard this time, due to the huge amount (almost 50 GB).

Both should work. Cheers -e -- Eberhard Moenkeberg (emoenke@gwdg.de, em@kki.org)

No problem. There is no urge to update my system. It works great at the moment. I just wanted to install Scribus using apt. But I don't mind wainting another day. Thanks for your help, Dani
