Dear reader, Could someone explain to me why I am not successful at making the Dvorak keyboard layout stick? I went to the [KDE Control Center, Regional & Accessibility, Keyboard Layout], and made sure "Dvorak" was the only keyboard layout available under "Active Layouts" on the right window (left window reads "Available Layouts"). And I still get the QWERTY keyboard, not the Dvorak one... I'm currently running Suse Linux Professional 9. Thank you for your help. Try to set up dvorak with Yast>Hardware>Keyboard instead or else you'll have to write as if it is querty whenever you try to login. Hope this helps. Regards, Kenneth Aar http://min.virkelighet.net
