VMware Server is free of charge. Not Open Source, of course. And it is not as fully functional as VMware Workstation or any of the other pricey VMware products, but it gets the job done.

Mea culpa -- I forgot the party line -- "What? This stuff isn't open source??", the implication being of course that non-OSS is even more evil than Billy claims OSS to be.
