Hi all, I have just installed SuSE 9.1 (waiting for 9.2) with KDE 3.2 desktop manager. Once I mounted a device it is impossible to umount it from KDE. I have to umount the device by command line umount -l /dev/device (umount -f fails). Any hint? Topic already discussed? Saludos emilio

If you have Konqueror set to preload 1 or more copies then Konqueror has the habit of still occupying the mounted drive even when terminated. One can use the 'lsof' command to detect whether 'kdeinit' task still has the mounted device open. Other people on this list may be able to fill in some details.
