Hi all, I have this problem: my PC at work is behind a firewall which doesn't allow any connection from the outside world to the local pop3 server (actually it doesn't even allow any connection from local client to an external pop3 server). I would like to read my mail at home, too. At work I use Kmail to read my mail. I would like to set up on my PC at work a program to be run periodically which download new messages on my local box and then applying some filtering rules will send messages to an external mailbox which I can reach from home. Which kind of program may I use for this job? TIA Maurizio
Maurizio Firmani wrote: Hi Maurizio, procmail could be your friend. You can set up rules that forward mail to other addresses. I use to send unwanted spam back to the sender. :0 * ^From:.*news@ticker.de ! news@ticker.de That would be an easy example. Keep in mind, that there is no copy remaining at your work PC. For further ideas you probably need to dig the man page. Juergen
