KDar & SUSE 9.1 empty string path
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hey all.... I've been searching for info on KDAR, but the docs are pretty skimpy and there doesn't seem to be much out there.. The first question is when I try to change the settings to make a dvd sized backup (4500mb/ 4200mb) I get a line in the main window that says empty string is not a valid path. I've gone back into settings and tried changing one thing at a time to see if would change, no go... If I run it kdar still does the split at ~700mb thinking I wanted a cd. Also how do you tell kdar where to put the archive file as an intermediate step? It put it in my home dir, and since that drive isn't very big I want to move it, prior to burnning.. You might find the command line a little more conducive to a successful backup ...I know I did. That part of it is pretty well documented, I thought, and I'm a *very_rusty* command line user (was with Windoze for far too long). -- ...CH "The more they over-think the plumbing, the easier it is to stop up the drain."
