[opensuse] Samsung printer problem under Leap 4.21
The Samsung printer is 2955DW. Worked great under previous versions of OpenSuse (12.x series). Currently running 64bit Leap 4.21 with same printer. I can setup the printer using "Configure Printers" under Hardware in YaST. The test page works and it appears the printer is working. However, when I try to print, the printer starts and then stops without printing. I can then go into YaST under Printer and "Edit" the Printer Configuration by checking the Enable Printing box. Once this is done, the printer finishes printing the file. This process has to be preformed every time I want to print. Any idea how to solve this problem. I don't remember the details exactly, but some printers can be set so they only print when pressing a button on the printer. My HP1320 did this for some time. I think I fixed it from within CUPS, i.e., connect to http://localhost:631 and edit the priter defaults. Sorry for not being more specific...
