[opensuse] Ghostbusting 12.3
As you may know, the Ghost vulnerability of glibc was announced last week. It affects glibc < 2.18. My 13.1 uses v2.18 and is ok but my 12.3 system has 2.17 and is vulnerable. I did the updates but no help. Will there be a patch released to fix 2.17? Or any other vulnerable version? I am running 12.3 because 13.1 will not install on that hardware so an upgrade is not possible. Thanks in advance for any help. Fourth post of the same information. Did you not care for the answer you rec'd? Maybe he has a similar issue to me where he doesn;t receive emails in the order they arrive at the mailing list. I can get an email that is in reality the 4th in a thread arriving before all
