problem with OO spreadsheet
When I hide columns in OO spreadsheet the data/formulas are lost when I show them again. Is there a way to keep the data? thanks ===== Stephen W Sarasota, FL "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine ..." Proverbs __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? Yahoo! How are you hiding the columns? AIUI, the proper maner is to set the column width to zero. If you reset the column width to > zero the data will reappear. I just tested it on my 9.0 system, OpenOffice_org-1.1-43, and it works correctly. -- Patrick Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 http://wahoo.no-ip.org @ http://counter.li.org HOG # US1244711

I used the drop down menu under format>columns>hide (or show as the case might be). I will try the "zero" option. Thanks ===== Stephen W Sarasota, FL "A merry heart doeth good like a medicine ..." I think you will find that they are the same. -- Patrick Shanahan Registered Linux User #207535 http://wahoo.no-ip.org @ http://counter.li.org HOG # US1244711

Seems to work ok here. I (for the first time ever) right clicked on a column header and selected hide. And the column did hide. Then I right clicked on the 'divider' where the column should be and selected show and the column reappeared with all of its data and formulas. -- +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ + Bruce S.
