You cuould pull the hard drive , place in another system , load suse , and put it back. This assumes you can create the proper working system , and select the proper drivers. I am trying to install SuSE 6.4 on a 486 PC/33 with 20MB (RAM) and 2 HDs: 210 MB and 1.08 GB (Seagate soft to jump the 540 MB limitation). It has a CD (Creative 1220 E) attached to a Sound Blaster Card 16. I run the boot disk and then the modules disk . I tried all the available modules for cdrom (sbpc etc.) and got nothing. The cd is working pretty well on Windows. I run out of ideas. Can you help me?
