I have the same problem. Did you ever find a solution? I suggest dropping SuSE an email asking them to include it. This is a useful tool, it would be a boon to have a Linux "Ghost" in SuSE. (Gentoo has it). You can actually get it to work if you create the Gentoo Linux Live-eval CD (they have an .iso) and boot to it. It has partimage built in. (And it's actually a very handy tool for backing up machines without Linux on them, of course, I can't get the Gentoo version to talk to the SuSE server running the 0.7.x beta of partimaged).
