Messaging software for home-network.
Hi, I would need a replacement for the pop-up based communication we have now in our small home-net. Is there an (instant) messaging program I could run on various compu- ters in a LAN, where internet is mainly not present (~dial-in)?! e.g. running a groupware server is really not the solution I'm looking for. Thank you, Pelibali

I'm liking wildfire for a server and gaim for a client, but you can't use the latest of each together - gaim segfaults. If you drop back to 2.4.0 on wildfire it all works.
