I'm afraid this is not as easy as you think. The CDs contain some more (hidden) files to let YaST know which CD is in the drive etc. This is not documented for obvios resons. And anyway, I think it will be cheaper for you boss to buy a copy, then paying you for the time you need to split up the ftp contents to CDs... But why do you need CDs when you have mirrored our FTP site? You can easy install via NFS.
