[opensuse] Updates Tonight (kernel from updates repo + vbox from virtualbox repo) segfault on shutdown?
All, I did updates earlier from the Official Updates repo and the virtualbox repo. On shutdown/reboot, the machine segfaulted HARD! core-dumped/(blinking cap-lock key hard). Seemed related to virtualbox kmp. Anybody else see this on latest updates? If I was smart enough, I'd have remembered to take a screenshot (with my phone...) User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Linux x86_64; rv:24.0) Gecko/20100101 Thunderbird/24.7.0 Because that's the stable long term version, not the "normal" one, which is 31.0 ;-) -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 13.1 x86_64 "Bottle" at Telcontar)

I love it when that rare bit of wisdom raises its ugly head to insure critical software (1) works & (2) continues to work after updates.. rpm -q MozillaThunderbird MozillaThunderbird-24.7.0-70.27.1.x86_64 Good planning. -- David C.
