I am running Leap with encrypted LVM (EXT4). Now, following indications of a bug report I have to install tentatively the kernel stable (which is now 4.7 something). I selected the base package. But trying to boot I get a failing cryptsetup due apparently to dependency error.

I really do not recall any more if I have to install supplemental packages for running kernel stable with leap. If anybody could give me a short refresher telling me what package I am missing, I would be grateful.

When I boot with the normal kernel no problem.

Then there is at the end a title in yellow: depend: dependency failed.

-----Ursprüngliche Nachricht Ende----- Oh, I see now. So he recommended the TW kernel from tumbleweed?? But can I install a TW kernel on a leap system without updating to TW? I do wish to resolve the Problem with WLAN not to change the whole system. I do have TW on another PC it does not correspond to the needs I have with my notebook, nice on a PC though.
